Description
From the Tokaj Appellation of Origin, is a blended wine crafted from Furmint and Harslevelu grapes. Aszú denotes dried, botrytis-infected grapes, while Puttonyos indicates the proportion of these grapes to the base wine. These grapes are processed into a sweet paste and macerated in dry wine for a month, followed by aging in barrels and subsequent fining and filtration. The wine, with a medium golden hue, offers aromas of dried apricots, figs, and tobacco, balancing rich sweetness with high acidity and complexity. Ideal with foie gras, blue cheese, and chocolate, it is best served at around 10ºC.
